Realistic Narnia & Fantasy SATC

Instead of following the same formula of "The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe," Director Andrew Adamson has created an entirely different Narnia, one that is darker & full of hatred & violence. In the plot, the Narnians have been hiding from persecution hence they were designed to look wilder, to further stress the darker tone of this sequel.

Prince of Caspian is an entirely serviceable sequel. But if you go in to theater expecting the same magic found in Wardrobe, you will be a tad disappointed.

Sex and the City is everything i have imagined & expected.
In fact, the life of lead character Carrie is what i always fantasize my life will be - a drop dead gorgeous figure & hairdo, living in a Victorian style penthouse suite with a huge walk in shop closet, latest must-have fashion (clothes, bags (esp that LV Firebird that is calling out to me!), shoes, accessories), great job (meaning not have to keep to 9-5 routine, have complete freedom over what to do & most importantly, enjoys doing it!); except getting married after 40 years old.

The only thing i have in common with her, is having good old close gal friendz whom i treasure dearly.
i always enjoy all those girly nights out.
i wonder, by the time we are 40 years old, will it still be as what we are have now? or each will be too busy with own's life that we forgot friendship.

Narnia is realistic to me as it resemble what happened in real life esp work. Office politics where each one wants to achieve their own goals by attacking the oppositions.
SATC is a fantasy because i believed such fairy tales ending does not happen in real life.

If you only have the last $7.50 in your pocket, go & catch SATC.The reason is simple, Ch5 will never show it due to the rating.
But Narnia will eventually be shown on TV.

But then again, the CGI effects of Narnia is better enjoy in theater than an ordinary TV even if it is in HD.

So watch both lah!
