very Pek Cek me

1. got accused of skiving when i was spotted at Novena Sq during lunch by big boss who promptly sms-ed to S. This resulted in him holding a meeting next morning & banned all stuff from having joint meetings and no meeting for lunches & coffee among colleagues.
Well, him being physically there meant he was skiving too??

2. Top down order: No hitching of rides from colleagues, we are all paid transport allowance.
i thought the rides will save traveling time which translate to more working time??

3. Lunch is 1hr; working hours starts at 8.30am sharp ( he has been doing his rounds in office by 8.45am & demanding the whereabouts of those who are not in; when u ans that they're on the way, his reply is:"are u sure they are not having breakfast somewhere?").
If u don't believe us, don't ask. Sales ppl are used to flexibility not restricted like school children.

4. Witnessing dog owner walking their dogs everywhere. . . and i literally mean EVERYWHERE.
i thought dogs/bitches are not allowed in places like office, shopping malls, studio, expo, meetings?

5. At difficulty times like this, clients cut budget, our targets not hit so morales are generally low.
The various "patterns" from the top only pushed the morale level lower.
Poor management style that will only drive ppl away. We're there to work, not to school.

6. Being in the same lift with 2 brats and a helpless mum who can't control them. Scenario: kids pressing more than 10 buttons to make the lift stops at various floors. . . when they only stayed at 7th storey, me is above 20th. And the horror lift journey doesn't stop there. They got out of 7th floor, stood outside, pressed the door open button twice to stop my lift door from closing & gave me a cheeky victory smile.
i would slap them if their mum is not around.

7. Quarrelsome parents at home who has arguement every now-and-then over nitty gritty things.
家好月圆 is all i want.

8. The now very frequent bad news from various banks & financial houses.
feel sad for all those who are directly or indirectly affected. Retrenchments, lose of money or even life-savings.
